Staycation All I Ever Wanted

Summer is slowly but surely about to  ghost  us, like the memorial day  bae  you met on Fire Island. We don’t want to admit it, but it’s time. We want to end our summers with a bang, but after too many weekends of “living our best life”, we po’. No worries! The staycation was created for this very reason my frugal (when broke) friend. Team TUSHY will show you the best way to make your weekend in feel like an all-inclusive vacation.

  1. Bring France to your bathroom.

You don’t have to go all the way to Europe or Japan to experience the cleaning power of TUSHY bidet. Give your bathroom the luxurious upgrade with a bidet and imagine you’re pooping in Buckingham Palace alongside the Queen herself.

  1.  Prepare an elaborate foreign cuisine… or just order in.

Trying new food is key to an awesome vacation, and the same goes for a staycation. Always wanted to try to make authentic Moussaka from Greece? Try making it yourself! If that fails, hit up GrubHub.

  1. Room Service!

Staying in a hotel provides the luxury of having someone at your every beck and call. Guess what, you could have the same experience with a staycation… with some compromise of course. If your staycation isn’t a solo trip, swap days where you and your non-travel buddy serve the other room service. Don’t forget to tip.

  1. Greetings from My Bed: Send a Postcard

Hand make some postcards to send to family members and friends. They’ll definitely laugh at the sentiment and you’ll have so much fun making and personalizing them.

  1.  Capture the memories.

Once your staycation comes to a close, you’ll want to look back at all of your memories. You’ll want to post about all the sites you saw (on your TV), all the new food you tried (and cooked yourself), and more importantly how much fun you had without leaving the comfort of your own home. Make 'em jealous.
