To get the best burn from your TUSHY 100% soy wax candle:

1. Trim the wick to ¼ inch before lighting.
2. Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
3. Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges during the first burn (about 30–90 minutes) to prevent tunneling.
4. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
5. Keep candles away from children, pets, and wind.
6. For safety, do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time, and always allow the wax to fully cool before relighting.

Our 9 oz TUSHY soy wax candle burns for approximately 50 hours. Soy wax burns cleaner and slower than paraffin wax, which means a longer burn time and less soot.

Here's how to clean your candle vessel:
With a small spoon, scoop out as much remaining wax as possible. Boil some water and then pour it into the candle jar. Only fill the jar halfway as the wax will rise to the surface on its own. Be careful as the surface of the vessel will get hot! Let that stand until the water is cold and the wax is on the surface. Remove the wax and empty the vessel. Rinse it with hot water and soap, and wipe clean.
