Before lighting, trim your wick to 1/4"" and place on a hard, heat-resistant surface. Your first burn is crucial to the life of the candle to prevent tunneling. Light for 60-90 minutes or until the entire top surface of wax melts. Never leave a candle unattended and keep away from pets and kids. Always let the candle cool completely before relighting. Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours as the vessel can get excessively hot.

Our 9 oz. all-natural soy wax candles burn for approximately 50 hours. Soy wax burns cleaner and longer, using renewable resources unlike paraffin wax which is made from petroleum. Your candle will perform best in a room that does not have any air movement affecting the flame. Drafts also decrease the life of the candle. Stop burning the candle when there is 1/4"" of wax left in the vessel.

Here's how to clean your candle vessel:
With a small spoon, scoop out as much remaining wax as possible. Boil some water and then pour it into the candle jar. Only fill the jar halfway as the wax will rise to the surface on its own. Be careful as the surface of the vessel will get hot! Let that stand until the water is cold and the wax is on the surface. Remove the wax and empty the vessel. Rinse it with hot water and soap, and wipe clean.
