Nope and nope. The Classic 4.0 runs entirely on your home's existing water pressure. No outlet, no extra plumbing, no contractor needed. It hooks into the water supply line that fills your toilet tank.

The Classic 4.0 fits 95% of standard American toilets, round or elongated. It attaches between your toilet bowl and seat, so no permanent modifications are needed. The one style it won't pair with is a French Curve toilet, a one-piece design with curved sidewalls in the back. The curve means the base plate can't lay flat, so the seal won't hold. Same magic as always. The included stainless steel Mega Adapter connects to the water supply line behind your toilet tank. The flexible braided hose (2 feet, 3/8" to 3/8" compression) connects the adapter to your Classic 4.0. No electricity. Turn the knob, water flows, bum gets clean.

The (Classic 4.0, Classic 3.0, Fresh, and Handheld Bidet Sprayer) connect to your home's cold water line, so the spray comes out about the same ambient temperature as your tap water, not icy, just whatever your tap runs. It's part of what keeps these models easy to install, since there's no warm water hookup needed. It might feel brisk at first, but it won't hurt, and most people find it very refreshing.

If you'd rather have warm water, we've got options. The Spa 3.0 and Oasis are non-electric bidet attachments that connect to your sink's warm water line, as long as your sink is within about 6 feet of your toilet. Yes. The patent-pending self-cleaning nozzles rinse before and after each use. When the Classic 4.0 is turned off, the nozzles automatically retract. The new spray nozzle guard also protects them from splash back between uses. Clean nozzle, clean butt, clean conscience.
